RMA History Blog

About Us

Welcome to the RMA History Blog!

This weblog functions as the centre of our community, consisting of students, alumni and scholars that are involved in one way or another in the Research Master (RMA) History at Utrecht University.

The RMA History is a two-year master’s programme for students aiming to become trained in performing (academic) historical research. The expertise of our involved teaching staff ranges from political history to cultural, economic and social history – not to mention the history of international relations and conflict studies.

If you are interested in what we do and what you, as a potential future student, could do, please browse through our website! Read about our students’ experiences abroad, or dive into their research projects. You can also check out some of their  interesting blogposts, columns and interviews. Maybe you can find an interview with your favourite Utrecht University professor here! And of course, the thrilling experience of finishing your master’s program and entering the job market is discussed as well.

Any questions? For more general enquiries, check out our official site for prospective students to see if you questions are answered here! If not, you can always reach out to the RMA coordinator.
